About JPS

Since 1977, the Journal of Population Studies has been Taiwan’s only academic journal focusing on publishing researching papers on population studies, research notes and related information for inside and outside of Taiwan. Our journal is published semi-annually, in June and December, under a rigorous review and editing process, by the Center for Population and Gender Studies, National Taiwan University and the Population Association of Taiwan. It’s a well-known journal under TSSCI (Taiwan Social Sciences Citation Index), with contributions on population-related studies and research notes, as well as discussions on related issues, book reviews and records of academic events domestically and internationally.

Starting from the 65th issue in 2022, we have revised our submission process. Please submit two files for submission: a "Named Manuscript"(including the full text and author's basic information) and an "Anonymous Manuscript"(containing the full text only). Both files should be in Word and PDF formats. Please submit them to our email address: psc@ntu.edu.tw.
